摘要
逐步退休是美国高校为鼓励教师提前退休而实施的一项退休激励政策,该政策由一系列条件和相关政策条款构成,其中包括参与项目的资格和条件、项目期限、逐步退休期间教师的工作任务(工作量)及工资待遇、养老金及医疗保险、教师的权利与责任、学校及院系对教师的支持服务等,该政策被众多学者和高校管理者视为一项"双赢"政策。
Phrased retirement is a r etirement policy adopted by American colleges and universities to encourage faculty to retire earlier. Phrased retirement policy contains a set of terms and conditions, including eligibility requirements, participation period, work assignment, salary and benefits, insurance, social security and pensions, faculty rights and responsibilities, departmental logistics and supports. Phased retirement plan provides an opportunity for individual career flexibility and forms an important part of the long-range personnel resource management of the colleges and universities. Thus, many researchers and higher education administrators view phased retirement as a "win-win" policy.
