摘要
遥感图像处理具有数据量大、运算密集、算法复杂等特点,如何快速、高效地处理遥感图像成为遥感图像处理技术研究的目标之一。随着通用GPU计算技术的飞速发展,GPU的运算性能不断提高,具有浮点运算能力强、运算密集度高、体积小、性能功耗比和性价比高等特点,为加速遥感图像处理提供了新的途径。本文在简要介绍与分析GPU体系结构和编程模型的基础上,对国内外遥感图像GPU处理研究的现状进行了概括性综述,并对这些研究工作的特点进行了简要分析,最后总结了研究中存在的问题并给出了一些未来的展望。
Remote sensing image processing has the characteristics of large amount of data,intensive computation,complex algorithms,etc.,thus how to quickly and efficiently deal with the processing of remote sensing imagery becomes a hot research topic.With the rapid development of the General-Purpose GPU computing technology,GPU computing performance continues to improve.Its characteristics of strong ability of floating point calculation,high intensive computation,small volume,pretty performance power consumption ratio and performance-cost ratio provide a new way to accelerate the remote sensing image processing.Based on a brief introduction and analysis of the GPU computing architecture and programming model,this paper makes a general overview of current GPU research status in remote sensing image processing,and briefly analyzes the characteristics of these studies.Finally,it summarizes the problems existing in the research and gives some prospects for the future.
