Analysis of Sinicization of Marxism from the Harmonious Concept

历史的经验告诉我们,只有马克思主义与中国国情相适应,才能引领中国走向成功,不相适应,就会带来挫折。所以马克思主义不是教条,它必须中国化才能在中国发挥它的最大效用。而它之所以能中国化就是因为它与中国文化有共通的契合点,可以求同存异。和谐观就是它们的一个契合点。作为马克思主义中国化指导理念的和谐观念如果与马克思主义不能求同存异,也就无所谓马克思主义中国化的问题。

History shows that only when Marxism was adapted to the national situation of China would China be led to success. Otherwise it would encounter more difficulties. Marxism is not dogmas, but the universal guidance and fundamental principle. It needs to be integrated with the national situation of China. In other words, Marxism has to be Sinicized so that its utility is maxi- mized in China. Marxism can be Sinicized in that it shares many common grounds with Chinese culture despite the differences. The concept of harmony is one of their integrating points. It is the guiding principle on which the Sinicization of Marxism de- pends. If Marxism and the concept of harmony can not seek common grounds while reserve differences, the Sinicization of Marx-ism can not be realized.
