摘要
文章采用"比较词义"的研究方法对"油脂"义场进行考察,发现"油脂"与"肥肉"相关,在词义的派生过程中,与"肥胖""肥美""润泽"等也关系密切。功能转换机制在词义演变中起着至关重要的作用。
Abstract： Applying the framework of Comparative Lexical Semantics, which aims to compare the semantic development paths of typologically distinct languages, and to show that to what extent these languages share the universals in their diachronic evolution, this article provides a new perspective to investigate the semantic map of the semantic-field of Youzhi（油脂） ＂grease＂. The cross-linguistic investigation displays that the meaning Youzhi（油脂） ＂grease＂ is related to Feirou（肥肉） ＂fat meat＂, and frequently extends its meaning to other domains, i.e., feipang（肥胖） ＂fat＂, Feimei（肥美） ＂delicious＂, and Runze（润泽） ＂to lubricate or moisten＂. It is proposed that Function-Shifting plays an important role in the process of semantic extending.
