善恶评价的标准是判断道德行为或观念善恶的标准。社会进步的标准则既包含物的尺度，又包含人的尺度，不仅包含物质文明的进步也包含精神文明的进步。因此，善恶评价的标准与社会进步的标准并不存在二律背反。在特定历史条件下，我们并不否认物质进步与道德进步之间的分离，但这不是社会历史发展的必然规律。

The standard of social progress takes into account progress in both the material respect and the spiritual one.SO there is no antinomy between the standard of appeasing Good and Evil and the one of appraising social progress. Under certain historical circumstances, there might be a gap berween material civilization and cultural civilization,but this is not. an objecrive law of development of social history.
