通过对《园冶》书名中"冶"字多学科的聚焦解析,拟定了它"熔铸""美化""广大之道"3个义项,从而将书名解释为"园林美的铸造(创造)之道";进而高度评价了计成"使大地焕然改观"的"大冶"理想,并阐释了《园冶》在当代的价值和意义。
This article tries to define ＂creation＂ ＂beautification＂ and ＂extensive regulation＂ through tbcusing on cross-disciplinary explanation of ＂creation＂ in the name of Creation of Garden＇s Beauty（Yuan Ye）. Furthermore, the book＇s name is explained as ＂the regulation of creation of garden＇s beauty＂ and the paper sings high praise of Ji Cheng＇s ideal of ＂Thorough Reformation＂, and analyzes its modern value and meaning.
