基于社会空间正义的转型期中国城市更新批判

A Critique On China’s Urban Renewal From Social Space Justice Viewpoint

快速城市化进程中的中国城市社会矛盾不断积累,其中尤以城市更新中的社会冲突为甚,社会的公平正义已经成为当今城市社会生态系统中重点关注的方面。以经济增长为主要诉求的城市更新在转型期中国"压缩"的城市化进程和环境中,自一开始就处于价值取向饱受质疑的尴尬境地。研究在对当前中国城市更新问题进行批判的基础上,指出在社会可持续发展日益受到关注的今天,社会空间正义应该成为中国城市更新和空间生产(包括空间规划)过程中所遵循的核心价值观,成为引导城市经济、环境和社会协同耦合发展的基本原则,以修复因长期强调经济发展、效率优先而积累的社会矛盾和社会危机。

China’s social problems have accumulated in the fast urbanization process and have been epitomized in urban renewal matters.Social justice has become a critical issue in modern city’s social and ecological systems.Economic growth oriented urban renewal has been questioned since its birth in transitional China’s ＂compressed＂ urbanization process.The paper criticizes urban renewal’s problems,indicates spatial justice shall be a core value option in China’s production of city space,and a basic rule of coordinating urban economy,environment,and social harmony.It will help ease and repair the problems and crisis caused by efficiency privileged economic development.
