The concept and advantage of the rock-filled concrete are introduced herein, and then the general status of the con- struction of Sagu Reservoir is expatiated along with the description made on the reason of the application of the rock-filled concrete to the construction of Sagu Reservoir. It is pointed out that the rock-filled concrete technology is a new kind of environment friendly and energy efficient construction technics with a broad application prospect.
