On the Auto Goal of Education

作为一种人为的、为人的活动,教育是有目的的。教育的目的并不只是为政治、经济服务,也不只是为了获取知识。教育不仅是一种工具,它还有其自身的目的,并存在于教育过程之中,教育是自成目的的。自成目的的教育更加关注教育过程中的人的发展,更加关注人的现实需要,并能使人过一种自给自足的幸福生活。

As an artificial activity for man,education has its own goal.It does not serve politics and economy,but acquires knowledge.Education is not merely a tool,and it has its own purpose which lies in the educational process,so education has its auto goal.Education with the auto goal pays more attention to man＇s development in the educational process,and to man＇s actual needs,so it is capable of making man live a self-contented happy life.
