Environmental surveillance of human enterovirus in rivers and wastewater in Shenzhen

摘要 目的:研究肠道病毒在环境水体中的分布情况。方法:本次研究选择了五个采水点,从2010年4月-2011年12月连续每月采样,利用实时荧光RT-PCR检测水样中的肠道病毒。结果:105份水样中,肠道病毒检测呈阳性的有72份,占68.57%;各采水点之间肠道病毒的检出率无明显差异。结论:水体中肠道病毒广泛存在,有必要加强水环境中肠道病毒的监测并进一步研究水中肠道病毒对公众健康带来的风险。 Objective:To determine the prevalence of human enterovirus in water environments.Methods: Water samples from 5 locations were collected monthly from April,2010 to December,2011 and enterovirus was detected using real-time RT-PCR.Results: Of 105 water samples,72 samples(68.57%)were positive for enterovirus when subjected to real-time RT-PCR assay.There were no statistical differences in the positive ratio of the samples from 5 locations.Conclusion: The high prevalence of enterovirus in water strongly supports the need of human enterovirus surveillance in aquatic environments and further comprehensive studies for evaluating the public health risk associated with enterovirus in water.
