《说文解字》“误释字”考释四则

Four Research of Mis-interpreted Characters in Shuo Wen Jie Zi

《说文解字》在汉字演变中起着无可替代的承上启下的作用,但由于时代的局限,存在着一些析形释义之误。通过古文字字形以及用例分析,认为:"中"本是商朝建军专用的旗帜;"告"是"祰"的初文,并非从牛;德本义是道德、品行;"皮"本是"铍"之初文。《说文解字》的相关分析应该予以补正。

Shuo Wen Jie Zi in the development of the characters plays an irreplaceable role and serves as a connecting link between the preceding and the following, however, due to limitations of the times, it has some mistakes of analysis of shape and paraphrase. This article through the ancient characters and case analysis, think that： ＂O0＂ is a special flag of the establishment of the army in Shang Dynasty; ＂告＂ is the original text of the ＂祰＂,it donlt contains 牛： “德”＇s original meaning is moral, good character; ＂皮＂is the original text of the ＂铍＂. Correlation analysis of Shuo Wen Jie Zi should be corrected.
