The paper discusses how the packet transfers and also routes in the internetworking and introduces the characteristic of various kinds of routing protocols and applications with routing protocol. It is very important to select the right routing protocol in network design, because it affects the performance of the internetworking and a bad selection may make it difficult to maintain.
