This paper describes the application of PLC to coal blending control system. Some key points of the PLC control system were introduced, such as： the constitutes of hardware and software, the methods of ratio management, etc. Through the application of PLC technology, the production automation level of the coal blending machines and the reliability of the coal blending automatic control system were improved remarkably, with the electrical control mode was simplified furthermore.
