The relationship between pathogenic cold and prevention as well as treatment were discussed from five aspects：the historical research of pathogenic cold,its seasonal correlation with internal organs,its characteristics of occurrence,its modern research,as well as the prospects of treatment,so as to set solid foundation on the clinical prevention and treatment of pathogenic cold.
