中国人类学学科地位省思

Thought on the Discipline Status of Chinese Anthropology

迄今为止,国内学术界对人类学学科地位的讨论还没有形成共识,这对中国人类学的发展是不利的。当前人类学一级学科的设置时机已基本成熟,但仍然存在一系列窘境和困惑。随着我国人类学在理论方法的创新突破,本土化进程的逐渐加快,应用研究的深入开展和人类学知识的普及,中国人类学就会体现出强大的社会功能,人类学的学科地位也会不断得到巩固。

So far,domestic academia has not yet fully formed consensus about the discipline status of anthropology, which is detrimental to the development of Chinese anthropology. Basically it is now the opportunity to establish anthropology as the first level discipline though there are still a series of dilemmas and confusions. With the breakthrough of Chinese anthropological theory and methodology, acceleration of the localization process, in-depth development of applied research and the popularity of anthropological knowledge, Chinese anthropology will reflect a strong social function, and the status of anthropology as the first level discipline will continue to be consolidated.
