魏源晚年投靠太平天国吗?

Whether Wei Yuan Sought Refuge with the Taiping Rebellion in His Later Years

魏源被朝廷革职后,晚年生活穷困潦倒,各种猜测、传闻由此而生。甚至有人捕风捉影,攻击魏源"晚年变节",被洪秀全聘为"乡三老",并"因侧身洪廷,遂遭平墓之灾"。文章综合史料,从多重角度进行分析,认为所谓魏源"晚年变节"、"侧身洪廷"之说是根据不足的。

After removed from office by the government, Wei Yuan was down and out in his old age. Therefore, all kinds of speculations and rumors came into being. Some people even made groundless accusations, saying that Wei Yuan became an apostate, appointed as ＂Countryside Sanlao＂ by Hong Xiuquan, and because of his turning to Hong Xiuquan, his grave was dug out. According to comprehensive historical materials and analyzing from multiple angles, this paper considers this kind of viewpoint is of insufficient evidence.
