摘要
长期以来,学界对蔡锷离滇赴京的原因众说纷纭,莫衷一是。据新发现的史料考证,蔡锷离滇赴京的真正原因是:蔡锷应熊希龄、梁启超和谭延闿的要求,先赴京养病和联络再赴湘承担"二次革命"后湘事善后的重任。蔡锷到京后,因熊希龄去职,而使其赴湘计划落空。
Scholars have long disagreed on Cai E＇s transfer from Yunnan to Beijing.According to historical textual research,the reason for Cai E＇s transfer from Yunnan to Beijing was that Cai E promised Xiong Xiling,Liang Qichao and Tan Yankai that he would go to Beijing to recuperate and discuss the current issues with them at first,then go to Hunan to handle its affairs after ＂the Second Revolution＂.After Cai E＇s arriving in Beijing,Cai E could no longer go to Hunan because of Xiong Xiling＇s dismissal,
