Humble Opinions on the Femininity in Historic Romance of Woodman

《樵史通俗演义》中出现的女性不多,且都不是重要人物。这些女性大致可以分为三类:第一类是与末世政治有直接关系的女性;第二类是与政治有间接关系的女性;第三类是无关政治却最终沦为政治陪葬品及作为男子附属品、被男子或杀或弃的女性。作者对与政治有关的女性有意进行了丑化,主要表现为突出了她们的淫荡不贞。作者在女性观方面主要延续了传统的观念,这与他的政治倾向有十分密切的关系。

Only a little number of women was mentioned in Historic Romance of Woodman and was described as unimportant figures as well. These women could be approximately divided into three classes, the women who had a direct connection with politics in the period of late phase, the women who had an indirect connection with politics, and the women who had no connections with politics but finally became the funeral objects of politics and accessories of men, and were either killed or abandoned by men. The author uglified those female images that were connected with politics on purpose by describing them as lascivious. The author mainly succeeded the traditional notions on the views of women, which had a close relationship with his political tendency.
