On the biological basis of virtue and its significance

动物没有道德,但这并不能否定德性是以人的生命形式为基础。人从不会使用语言、无法进行概念推理的婴儿成长为成熟的实践推理者,离不开人的生物学基础;成熟的实践推理者在道德推理中要保持人的同一性,也离不开人的动物性身体。承认德性的生物学基础,才有可能厘清德性与理性的关系,并走出理性主义道德哲学的困境。

Animal has no moral,but this does not negate that the virtue is form the basis ot human hte. Baby who cannot use language,cannot give the conceptually reasoning cannot grow up into mature practitioner without person＇s biological basis. Mature practitioner cannot keep the identity without the body of animal personality. Based on recognition of the biological basis of virtue, the relationship between virtue and reason should be clarified probably, and the dilemma of rationalism moral philosophy should be solved.
