"放置"义动词从上古发展到近代经历了一个新旧词更替的过程。"置"是上古至中古时期"放置"义的主导词。到了近代汉语时期,"放"在搭配对象、义域上不断扩大,逐渐取代了"置"成为"放置"义的主导词,沿用至今。现代汉语方言的"放置"义动词比通语中要丰富,既有承传词,又有创新词。各方言中使用的"放置"义动词反映了不同的历史层次。

There is a great changes in verbs with meaning of ＂ Place（放置）＂ through history.Placing（置） is the dominant meaning within the verb of ＂Place＂ in ancient and medieval times.But in the modern Chinese,the verb of ＂ put（放） ＂ expands increasingly in the matching objects and semantic domain,then gradually replacing the verb of ＂ place ＂,so that it becomes the main meaning of placing and is still in use today.The meaning of placing in modern Chinese dialect has more connotation than that in common language,which has both inheritance meaning and innovative meaning.The verb of ＂ Place＂ in various dialects reflects different historical levels.
