This is to examine the development of The Literature, Arts and Medicine Database at New York University. First, we make a detailed introduction to the construction background of the database, talk about the content and applica tion of the database. Then we review the current situation of medical humanities education at New York University School of Medicine. Finally, we ponder on Chinese medical humanities education from curriculum, teaching method and teachers construction.
