This paper gives the calculation of Predicted Point of Collion on ARPA,and analyses Predicted Point of Collion producted by different ships speeds. It suggests a preventing collision method by using automatic radar plotting aids. This method can be achieved by computer, and be used by RADAR and ARPA to avoid collion.
