西域各民族历来能歌善舞,其中以乐舞最为擅长。除去"三大乐舞"《胡旋舞》《胡腾舞》《柘枝舞》之外,《泼寒胡戏》、《剑器浑脱》、《西凉乐》、《霓裳羽衣舞》等舞乐也都各具特色,充满异域情调,唐诗对此有珍贵记录和精彩描绘。

The nationalities of the Western Region have always been good at singing and dancing,particularly excelled at music-and-dance.Po-han Singing-and-Dancing,Jian-Qi-Hun-Tuo,Xi-Liang Music,Ni-Chang-Yu-Yi Dance,etc are all with unique characteristics,filled with an exotic touch in a foreign land besides three big music-and-dances-Hu-Xuan Dance、Hu-Teng Dance and Zhe-Zhi Dance,the verses of Tang Dynasty have precious records and splendid portrayal with them.
