Horizontal Freezing Technique for the consolidtion of Soft Soil in A Thoroughfare of Shanghai Metro

结合上海地铁旁通道地基加固实例,从水平冻结法施工、设计、技术关键、应用效果等方面较系统地介绍了水平冻结技术。它首次在上海繁华市区含水软土地基加固中成功应用,应用水平冻结法加固地层安全可靠、经济合理。

Taking the ground consolidtion of a thoroughfare of Shanghai Metro for example, this paper systematically introduces the horizontal freezing technique in terms of horizontal freezing construction, design, key technique and actual effect. The new technique was firstly used to improve water- bearing soft soil in the busy area of Shanghai, which achieved a great success. It is safe and economic to improve ground by horizontal freezing technique.
