摘要
专业课程体系的设置是高校人才培养体系中的核心环节。因此,地学人才培养体系的研究应从地学专业课程体系着手。美国作为地学教育领域前沿的国家,其地学教育领域方面的经验值得借鉴。在此背景下,本文从培养目标、学分、专业课程科目、实践课程4个方面入手,选取中美两所高校,利用比较法,通过对比分析两校地学专业本科课程体系,掌握两校各自的优势和特点,吸收美国教育和教学方法的优点,为我国地学专业课程体系的改革和完善提供借鉴。
Curriculum system offerings are the critical part of College talent cultivation system.Thus,the study of geosciences talent cultivation system should be begun with the research on geoscience curriculum system.USA,as the frontier country of geosciences education field,holds the advanced education ideas and rich teaching experience in this field.In this context,a comparative study of Sino-US undergraduate geoscience curriculum system between China University of Geosciences(Beijing) and California Institute of Technology is carried out from the view of cultivation aims,credit/units,courses as well as practice courses by using comparative research methodology.Through analyzing the different advantages and characteristics between the two universities,some proposals are offered for the references of China’s undergraduate geoscience curriculum system reform.
