Association rule mining is an important task of data mining. With the development of OLAP and data warehousing, the need for multilevel association rule mining becomes more urgent. This paper studies the problem of multilevel association rule mining under distributed environment, and presents a fast algorithm called DMMLA. Principles and implementation of the algorithm are discussed. Experiments prove efficiency of the algorithm.
