Landscape as Space Grammar:Flowing Space and Design turn

查尔斯·瓦尔德海姆主编的《都市景观主义》提出,在一个充满了流动性和不确定性的时代,景观成为理解和介入当代城市的媒介:而景观都市主义是专业者介入世界的一种新工具、新思维方式和工作方式。本文对该书核心内容进行评述,认为流动性加大改变着物质空间实践的状态。如何维持与一个巨系统之间的关联,同时又能够保持自身的相对独立性和身份,便成为物质空间实践必须面对的巨大难题。文中提出物质空间实践的6个层级并进一步讨论历史时期"空间语法"发展的三个阶段,认为"景观作为空间语法"是历史发展的产物,"联接"与"意义"是其中的关键内容。

The landscape Urbanism Reader edited by Charles Waldheim is reviewed critically. The author argues that it is huge paradoxes for physical spatial practice to maintain the connection with a complex macrosystem while at the some time keep its own independence and identity. The hierarchy of physical spatial practice is explored and the development of space grammar is discussed. The author concludes that landscape as space grammar is a necessary product of historical development and connection as well as meaning is the core contents of it.
