DeDoelen的联合设计人ReinH.Fledderus和他的同伴.
Whist designing the new builds for the Melanchthon College; we discovered the unique architectural qualities of the existing building. As the assembly hall was no longer utilised for the school, it was put to new use: a contemporary and comfortable office for our architectural firm. The former lower vocational technical school (LTS) was designed in the early 1960s by Rein H. Fledderus, co- designer of De Doelen, on the basisof a modular construction system that he had developed together with a few colleagues. The unique roof structure is particularly interesting. Eighteen glass pyramids allow daylight to stream into the building, creating an overwhelmingly light and spacious atmosphere.
