This muttifunctional music and theatre centre - comprising three halls, office spaces, studios and classrooms - accommodates a variety of users from all areas of Twente＇s music scene. A number of facilities are used collectively. The music school in the complex has a close but separate relationship with the theatre; students share the building with professionals, The communal space has been arranged to generate a high level of synergy. Buildings featuring theatrical stages are among the most complex design projects. The main reason is that such venues are expected to be extremely flexible in order to accommodate a wide diversity of performances. The largest auditorium is technically equipped to accommodate plays and all sorts of dance and musical performances.
