陕西佛坪国家级自然保护区社区公众野生动物保护意识调查

An Investigation on Local Community's Awareness of Wildlife Conservation in Foping Nature Reserve

陕西佛坪国家级自然保护区社区公众野生动物保护意识问卷调查结果表明:公众对野生动物保护知识和法制意识匮乏;对野生动物面临的威胁认识较明确,具有保护意愿,但缺乏保护积极性和主动性;公众主要通过保护区管理局宣传接受野生动物保护教育。应采取加大宣传、教育力度,在中小学教育中增加野生动植物保护内容等方法,不断提高社区公众野生动物保护意识和行为自觉性。

The local community＇s awareness on wildlife conservation in Foping Nature Reserve were surveyed in April 2010. The results showed that i） there is the severe lack of knowledge/awareness in local community about wildlife conservation in Foping NR; ii） local people have general knowledge a- bout major threats to wildlife and express willingness but not voluntarily to get involved in wildlife conservation; iii） local people gain their conservation knowledge mostly via education program provid- ed by the reserve. The potential way to improve local people＇s awareness towards wildlife conservation was discussed.
