Comments on Chinese Studies of Logical Paradoxin the Past Three Decades

改革开放三十多年来,我国逻辑悖论研究在深度和广度方面不断推进,呈现如下特点:第一,深入考察和探究了悖论的定义和分类问题,对悖论的本质、悖论的构成要素等问题的认识更加深入,对悖论的分类更加明晰和精致;第二,围绕逻辑悖论的矛盾归属问题展开广泛而深入的讨论,大致形成"逻辑矛盾说"、"辩证矛盾说"、"第三类矛盾说"三类不同观点;第三,以狭义逻辑悖论研究为重心,拓展和深化了集合论—语形悖论的研究,探讨了语义悖论的成因并揭示和论证了语义悖论研究从语境迟钝到语境敏感的发展脉动,语用悖论研究逐步展开;第四,明确了逻辑悖论的语用学性质,整合出解决逻辑悖论的一般标准,推广逻辑悖论的语义动力学分析方法,在悖论的一般方法论研究方面取得较大进展。

Chinese Studies of Logical Paradox takes on a new look in the past three decades.Firstly,the understandings of the definition,classification,essence and elements of logical paradox are more clear and fine.Secondly,through discussions on the type of contradiction in logical paradox,three viewpoints,i.e.,＂ logical contradiction＂,＂dialectical contradiction＂ and ＂the third contradiction＂ are developed.Thirdly,oriented on the logical paradox in a narrow sense,studies of syntactic paradox are deepened;the causes of semantic paradox as well as its dynamic developments from contextual insensitivity to contextual sensitivity are explored. Fourthly,it made great progress in studies of general methodology of logical paradox, such as identifying the pragmatic nature of logical paradox,integrating the norms in solving logical paradox and promoting the analytical methodology of semantic dynamics as well.
