土家族滴水牙床的传统技艺与文化蕴含——基于传承人陶代荣的研究

On The Traditional Craftsmanship and Cultural Connation of the Water Drop Bed of Tujia Ethnic Group:A Study on the Heritor TAO Dairong

采用口述历史研究方法,对土家族木雕传承人陶代荣进行了深入访谈。阐述了滴水牙床的制作技艺及文化表现,认为湘西土家族的滴水牙床面临技术传承的断代及技术与文化脱节的困境,因此,如何传承这些依赖口传心授的技艺尤为迫切。

The authors conducted an in-depth interview with TAO Dairong, a Tujia heritor of woodcarving technique with oral research method. The paper expounds the manufacturing techniques and cultural manifestations of the water drop bed, claiming that the Tujia water drop bed is now facing a predicament that technical continuation and transmission can not be carried forward and technology is divorced from culture. Therefore, it is an urgent task to inherit such craftsmanship which relies primarily on oral impartment and internalization.
