Establishment of Electronic Map Symbol Library Based on Illustrator

Illustrator是目前常用的矢量地图制图软件,其界面简洁、功能完善、操作简单。为此,分别从点、线、面的角度探讨了矢量电子地图符号的制作方法和特殊情况的应对技巧,讨论了电子地图符号库的建立与维护策略。最后得出如下结论:AI环境下电子地图符号库的建立不但能够提高电子地图的显示质量,而且还可以大大提高电子地图的生产效率。

Illustrator is now commonly used vector map cartography software. Its interface is simple, function is per- fect, and operation is simple. Combined with the drawing experience, from the angle of point symbol, line symbol and area symbol, this paper discusses the vector electronic map symbol library establishment method and special circum- stances processing method, and discusses the electronic map symbol library establishment and maintenance policy. At last this paper gets the conclusions as follows ： under the environment of AI, the establishment of the electronic map sym- bol library can not only improve the electronic map display quality, but also can greatly improve the electronic map pro- duction efficiency.
