Along with the development of metro tunnels, shield tunneling is increasing. Shield tunneling on curves with small radius involves complexities and difficulties, which directly affects the safety, quality and the problems that usually occur progress. This article analyzes under such condition. Based on the shield tunneling in a running tunnel on a small - radius curve, it introduces the tunneling technologies, which can be served as guidance to similar projects.
