The article approaches the conception of quality from the angle of education, and points out that quality is the total sum of all kinds of relatively stable characters of a person formed internally in the process of his becoming a social being. It declares that quality - oriented education or education for all - round development is an education conception and should be regarded as the ultimate objective as well as the start by all schools at different levels. Finally it states that the abilities to subsist, to learn and to create are the most fundamental and important qualities for students.
