符号学视域下的会议口译过程研究

The Study of Conference Interpreting:A Perspective of Semiotics

符号学已被广泛运用于分析和描述人类的交际活动。符号学在文化、认知和篇章等分支领域的投射,为我们解读会议口译提供了新的哲学视角。会议口译本身可以看做是符号认知的过程,其符号学属性主要体现在口译笔记的符号化过程、文化负载符号的翻译以及非语言符号的功能这三个层面。同时,符号学对口译研究具有认识论意义,是口译学科独立性的重要理论依据。

Semiotics is widely applied to describing and analyzing human communication.Its cultural,cognitive and textual projections provide innovative vision for researchers of conference interpreting.Conference interpreting can be treated as a process of sign cognition.The semiotic attributes are mainly found in the following three aspects：（1）the semiosis of interpreting notes,（2）translation of culture-loaded expressions and（3）functional realization of non-verbal signs.Semiotics has epistemological significance for interpreting study and lays theoretical foundation for the research of interpreting as an independent discipline.
