经济全球化和世界多极化是冷战结束后人类社会面临的两大趋势。经济全球化是推动世界多极化的重要力量。主要原因是 :科学技术的发展为全球范围内的人类交往创造了条件 ,也为全球性的经济体系的运作提供了技术基础 ;经济全球化使各国经济的相互依存性达到了前所未有的程度 ,反映在国际政治上 ,就表现为避免对抗 ,加强对话和合作 ;经济全球化加剧了全球经济竞争 ,各国实力在竞争中此消彼长。美国谋取世界霸权的企图 ,遭到大多数国家的反对 。

The global economy andthemultipolar world are two trends faced by the markind after the cold war.Global economy is an important motive force for a multipolar world for the following reasons:a. The development of science and technology has created favorable conditions for contacts between countries,and also provided technical foundation for operation of the global economic system;b. Global economy has made the countries dependent an each other to an unprecedentedly great degree,which is displayed in international politics as avoiding conpflicts,strengthening dialogues and cooperation;c.Global economy has intensified the world economic competition in which the actual strength of the countries have increased or decreased alternatively.America's attempt for supremacy has encountered the objection of most of the other countries,therefore,the vie between a unipoloar world and a multipolar world will continue to dominate the present international political situation for a long time.
