On the Contradictions in News Editing

自新闻编辑活动产生以来，它始终是作者、编辑、读者三者的矛盾统一体。新闻编辑业务实际上是处理好以编辑为核心的三对矛盾：编辑与作者的矛盾，编辑与读者的矛盾，编辑与作品的矛盾。这三对矛盾对立统一，共同构成编辑应用技术，且贯穿于新闻编辑活动的全过程，推动编辑事业不断向前发展。运用马克思主义理论研究编辑学的基础应用理论，对促进这三对矛盾的解决有着重要的指导意义。

Since the beginning of news editing, it has been an entity of opposites embodying the writer, the editor and the reader. Editing news actually means dealing well with three contraditions which have editor as their core: contradiction between editor and writer, contradition between editor and reader and that between editor and the work. These contradictions exist in one entity and form the applied editing technique; they run through the whole process of news editing and push foward the development of news editing. Applying Marxism to the research of the basic applied theory of editology will promote the solution of the three contradictions.
