The Cognition Going Beyond the Traditions ——On the Knowledge Contained in the Costumes

苗族服饰是苗族的传统文化,有着极为深厚文化底蕴和文化积淀,是苗族知识体系的重要组成部分,具有五大传统知识特性,即区别于现代特征的知识传统性,包含文化与信仰的知识整体性、与环境相生的知识地域性,在社区内公开的知识公众性,文化传承过程的知识创新性。

As an important part of Miao ethnic culture,Miao Ethnic’s costumes and adornments accumulate profound Miao culture and contain plenty of cultural details,forming a key component of Miao ethnic’s system of knowledge,in which five traditional aspects of knowledge feature： 1.the knowledge contained is traditions instead of modern affairs.2.the knowledge is complete with cultural and religious know-how;3.the knowledge is developed in some particular regions so that it is regional;4.the knowledge is publicized among Miao ethnic community,therefore it is commonsense to them;and 5.the knowledge is inherited with some innovations.
