There is a close link between the Shanghai Cooperation Organization（SCO） and the re-construction of Afghanistan,and as such researching the issue of Afghanistan from the perspective of the SCO is critical.Over the past decade,SCO has interacted closely with the process of re-construction in Afghanistan.While the SCO has made a tremendous contribution in terms of stabilizing Afghanistan＇s re-construction process,it has also faced considerable obstacles.In 2011,a sudden change in the direction of the re-construction process presented a serious challenge for the SCO.In the future,the re-construction of Afghanistan will continue to be the greatest challenge for the SCO,while also being its greatest opportunity for growth as an organization.
