摘要
本研究采用问卷形式对广州市7所高校的179位大学英语教师进行了写作能力构念调查,旨在揭示大学英语写作能力构念的操作定义。问卷调查数据和因子分析结果表明:大学英语写作能力构念主要包括论证逻辑性、语言准确性、语言得体性、卷面、语言多样性、组织结构等6个文本特征。此结果为从操作层面界定大学英语写作能力构念提供了证据。
This article describes an investigation into the construct of College English writing ability by sending questionnaire to 179 experienced College English teachers in Guangzhou. The research's purpose is to disclose the operation definition of the construct. The results of factor analysis indicate that the construct can be operationally defined in terms of 6 text features: logic of argumentation, language accuracy, language appropriateness, face value, language complexity and organization. The findings need triangulating before applied in teaching and testing practice.
