孔孟民本主义思想差异探微

On the Differences of the Doctrine of Taking People as Essence between Confucius and Mencius

孔、孟虽同为儒家代表人物 ,但两人在民本主义思想上却存在很多不同点。主要表现在 :对君、民两者本质认识上的差异 ;君、社稷、民三者之间地位安排上的差异 ;君、民之间关系处理上的差异 ;对仁政具体实施方案上的差异。形成这种差异的根本原因是由于两人所处的历史时代不同 ,所要解决的社会主要矛盾不同。

Confucius and Mencius are the representatives of Confucian, but these two men hold different doctrines on the problem of taking people as essence. The main differences are: the different understanding of the monarch and the people; the different arrangement of the monarch and the state and the people; the different way of how to handle the relationship between the monarch and the people; and how to carry out the policy of benevolence. The root causes for these differences are they lived in different times, so that they had to deal with different social crashes.
