摘要
高等教育规模与发展速度是高等教育发展战略中的一个重要问题。党中央国务院提出的“到 2 0 1 0年 ,我国同龄人的高等教育入学率要从现在的 9%提高到 1 5%”这一重大的战略性调整 ,不仅对教育自身的改革与发展意义重大 ,而且 ,对国家社会经济发展将产生全局性的重大而深远的影响。对缓解当前社会经济生活中的矛盾 ,扩大有效需求 ,刺激经济增长也会产生立竿见影的效果。
Scale and speed are two important aspects in the strategies for developing higher education of China. “Up to 2010, the enrollment for higher learning should be promoted to 15% from the present 9%” This is an adjustment in higher education made by the State Council. This adjustment is significant to both the reform and the development of higher education of China. Its influence on the social and economic development of China is far reaching. Besides, it can relieve social and economic conflicts, enlarge effective demands and stimulate economic growth.
