情境教学法在高职院校酒店英语教学中的运用探讨

An Inquiry into the Application of Situational Teaching Method to Hotel English Teaching in Higher Vocational College

随着我国经济的发展以及与世界各国交往的频繁,我国涉外酒店在近十年迅猛发展。同时社会对酒店专业工作人员的素质也提出了更高的要求,相对应地,对酒店英语教学的要求也自然提高。本文结合目前高职酒店英语教学的现状,结合酒店英语教材的特点,就如何在英语教学中实行情境教学法进行论述,从而推进高职酒店英语教学改革,提高课堂教学的质量。

With China＇s economic development and the frequent exchange with other countries in the workt, China＇s hotels involv- ing foreign people is developing fast in the near ten years. The requirements for hotel staff are higher, so is the teaching of hotel English. Based on the current situation of hotel English teaching in higher vocational college and the characteristics of English textbooks, this paper discusses how to use situational teaching method in English teaching, so as to promote the reform of hotel English teaching and improve the quality of classroom teaching.
