Employment Effect and Technology Diffusion of Offshore Service Outsourcing:A Review of Foreign Literature and Prospects

本文系统回顾和评述了国外自2000年以来关于离岸服务外包的就业效应和技术扩散的研究成果,并在此基础上进一步展望了未来的研究趋势,包括研究内容的丰富化、研究思路的动态化、指标选择的统一化以及研究视角的多元化。

Under the background of economic globalization and information technology, offshore service outsourcing has been the new focus of Global industrial transfer. As the theory of offshore service outsourcing is not mature at present, reviewing the relative foreign literature will both contribute to improving the theory research and conducting research on developing countries to realize technology progress as well as industry structure optimization. The paper reviews and criticizes foreign literature and viewpoints since 2000 around the employment effect and technology diffusion of offshore service outsourcing systematically. Moreover, we propose some future research directions, such as enriching research focuses, framing dynamic idea, unifying measurement indicators （in empirical research） , and diversifying perspectives.
