A Study on Initiative Personnel Training Mode for English Major

分析地方院校尤其是地方工科院校的英语专业现存培养模式,探讨"夯实基础、因材施教、各显其能"指导性原则的内在联系及其意义,提出"强专择向、分流辅修"的创新式英语专业人才培养模式,并阐述实现该培养模式的各种要素和过程要求。

Through an analysis of the available training modes of English majors at local universities especially local engineering universities and an exploration into the interrelatedness and the significance of the guiding principle of ＂laying a solid foundation, suiting the teaching to different learners＇ aptitude and demonstrating their individual tree worth＂, this paper holds forth an initiative personnel trainning mode for English specialty which is focusing on one field and having flee selection of separate minors. It also clarifies the key factors and basic requirements involved in the process of bringing the new mode into effect.
