新形势下部队院校图书情报人员所应具备的知识与素质——兼论图书情报人员的“耳目”、“尖兵”、“参谋”作用

当代新形势下,部队院校图书情报人员应继续为上级领导及有关专家提供最新、最尖端的情报信息,起到"耳目"、"尖兵"、"参谋"作用,应具备"高尖而广博的、合理的三角形知识结构",各种新兴学科知识及"文献的多途径、综合性、跨学科检索的知识与技能",并应具备"安全保密意识"及"甘为人梯、默默无闻的甘当无名英雄"的优良思想素质,此乃一个当代合格的、出色的部队院校的图书情报人员——才能不负共和国和人民赋予我们的神圣职责。

In the current times, library and information personnel should continue to provide the leaders and experts with the latest and most curing- edge information, functioning as their ＂eyes and ears＂, ＂pioneers＂ and ＂advisers＂. Therefore what they should possess includes ＂a triangular knowledge structure of being advanced, extensive and rational＂, some knowledge on new branches of science, and the multi -channel, comprehensive and interdisciplinary document retrieving skills. What＇ s more, they must have high sense of security, the fine quality of working as ladders and unknown heroes. All these are indispensihle for competent and outstanding library and information personnel at military and armed police academies, and only in this way can they live up to the sacred duty entrusted to them by the country and the people.
