The focus of research （harmful heavy metals, marine toxins, harmful micro-organisms and viruses, persistent organic pollutants, process control technology） about the quality and safety of aquatic products in Guangdong were investigated based on explaining the status and problems of aquatic products quality and safety in Guangdong, and the development strategy was proposed about the improving the quality and safety of aquatic products in Guangdong.
