沪江大学早期的图书馆——上海理工大学图书馆的发轫

On the College Library of Early University of Shanghai——The Inchoation of USST Library

上海理工大学图书馆的源头为沪江大学前身上海浸会大学堂图书室。基于沪江大学管理者对大学图书馆的深刻认识,简述1907-1937年间沪江大学图书馆的经费、馆藏、馆舍及图书馆管理的发展状况,为当今大学图书馆建设提供借鉴。

The origin of USST（University of Shanghai for Science and Technology） Library is the bookroom of Shanghai Baptist College,which was former University of Shanghai.Based upon the University of Shanghai’s profound understandings of academic library,this paper discusses the outlay,collection,building,and management of library of University of Shanghai from 1907 to 1937,in order to provide reference for the today’s academic library.
