State of the art of the dressing technology for the rare-earth ore is introduced by elaborating on its flotation collector, regulator and the status quo and development of the mineral processing technology. The development trends of the flotation reagent for the rare earth ore are prospected. Technology innovation and development of the mineral processing technology are discussed by describing the dressing technology and the current production status of the mixed rare earth ores in Baotou and the weathering crust-eluvial type rare earth deposits in Liangshan of Sichuan Mines and the southern part of China.
